First-Ever WORLD KRIYA (KUNDALINI) YOGA CONFERENCE
In the modern era, Mahavatar Babaji, through his cherished disciple Yogiraj Shri Shyamacharan Lahiri Mahasaya, reintroduced and spread the profound teachings of Kriya Yoga across the world. Now, in a groundbreaking effort, the first-ever Global Kriya Yoga Conference is being planned right here in Surat, Gujarat. This significant global event will take place on December 1, 2025, coinciding with Gita Jayanti, a deeply auspicious day. The conference will honor the sacred memory of Yog-Manasvi Shri Padmakant Thakur ‘Bhagwan’ Ji.
Shri Shyamacharan Sangh, Surat Branch, is organizing this historic conference. Vedic Microbiology encompasses the science of invisible organisms (Krimi i.e. Microorganisms / MicroEmbodied Organisms or Microbes) enshrined in the Veda-Ayurveda and other numerous Sanskrit texts in the (scattered) form of Richas / Slokas brought into light by the Vedic Rishis / AyurvedAcharyas thousands of years ago in the Spiritual Holy land VedaBhumi VishwaGuru Bharat/India.
THEME: Something that bridges Vedic principles and microbiology, such as: 1. “Ancient Wisdom, Modern Science: Exploring the Vedic Roots of Microbiology”;2. “The Microcosm and the Macrocosm: Vedic Perspectives on Microbial Life”; 3.”Harnessing Nature’s Intelligence: Vedic Insights for Modern Microbiology”;4. “Beyond Germ Theory: A Vedic Holistic Approach to Microbial Balance”.5. “PanchaMahabhoota & Vedic Microbiology”
OBJECTIVES: 1. To explore potential connections between Vedic concepts and modern microbiology; 2.To foster interdisciplinary dialogue between scholars of Vedic sciences and microbiologists.; 3. To examine traditional Indian practices for their microbiological relevance (e.g., fermentation, hygiene); 4. To investigate the Vedic understanding of health, disease, and the role of microorganisms; 5. To promote research into novel applications of Vedic knowledge in modern microbiology; 6. To create a platform for sharing research and ideas at this unique intersection.
HISTORY OF VEDIC MICROBIOLOGY CONFERENCES: 1. The first-ever conference on Vedic Microbiology viz.- INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON VEDIC MICROBIOLOGY, was held in New Delhi, India, from August 20-21, 2007. It was organized under the guidance of the Rishi Kanva Vedic Microbiology Research Institute [Now Vedic Microbiology Virtual University], the Indian Foundation for Vedic Sciences, and the Vishwa Dharmayatan Sansthan. 2. Sixteen years later, the 2ND WORLD CONFERENCE ON VEDIC MICROBIOLOGY & VEDIC MEDICINES took place in Surat, Gujarat, India, on December 21, 2023. This event was hosted by Vedic Microbiology Virtual University,BHARAT/INDIA [Managed by – Vedic Virtual Vidyapeeth Trust and Intercontinental Vedic Hindu VirtualRishiKulam (OPC) Pvt. Ltd].
